A VIP Lotus experience on and off the track

The Lotus Advanced Performance (LAP) team approached us to help plan and manage a VIP guest experience for their customers and new prospects. The event would take place on the Algarve in Portugal, with guests socialising in a stunning resort and testing themselves on the infamous Portimao International Circuit. 

With two groups enjoying road, venue and track activities concurrently, Connect Live were responsible for all event logistics from the moment the invitations had been sent. Hotels, catering, guest transfers and movements as well as the crew and local suppliers were all looked after by our team – ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for everyone.

Each of the venues were of the highest standard and had been chosen to pair with the Lotus Evija. It was our task to bring the presence and messaging of the brand to each, with subtlety and detail that complimented the locations and the car.

The key to this event was to make the guest experience seamless, smooth and enjoyable - ensuring that their sole focus was with Lotus and the cars. We were on hand at every moment to guide guests through the programme and so impressive was the chosen resort that many of the guests extended their stay. That meant that we also extended our presence before and after the event, assisting guests with offsite activities and local information, through to restaurant recommendations and bookings.

The feedback was nothing but positive from both Lotus Cars and their guests, making the event a huge success all round and a joy to be involved with.
